L'entrepreneur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral Walsh Construction a construit la nouvelle superstructure en acier sur des piliers temporaires imm\u00e9diatement en aval du pont existant. La nouvelle poutre a \u00e9t\u00e9 mise en place \u00e0 l'aide d'un syst\u00e8me de contr\u00f4le lat\u00e9ral le long des piliers, jusqu'\u00e0 son emplacement d\u00e9finitif sur les piliers existants r\u00e9nov\u00e9s, qui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9largis et r\u00e9habilit\u00e9s avant le d\u00e9placement. Ce plan de montage innovant a permis de r\u00e9duire le co\u00fbt du projet et de limiter la fermeture du pont pour cause de travaux \u00e0 seulement 10 jours.
