Zun\u00e4chst wurde die Fundamentierung des Flughafengel\u00e4ndes (Gusspf\u00e4hle und Pfahlkappen) fertiggestellt, um die Tragf\u00e4higkeit der gro\u00dffl\u00e4chigen Struktur zu gew\u00e4hrleisten. Das Hauptstahlfachwerk wurde in der Fabrik pr\u00e4zise vorgefertigt und dann mit Hilfe gro\u00dfer Hebevorrichtungen in Abschnitte gehoben und montiert, wobei gleichzeitig tempor\u00e4re St\u00fctzen zur Stabilisierung des Fachwerksystems eingesetzt wurden. Das Dach besteht aus einer Kombination von Stahlkonstruktionen und lichtdurchl\u00e4ssigen Paneelen (um die Anforderungen an die Beleuchtung der Ausstellungshalle zu erf\u00fcllen). Die Au\u00dfenfassade f\u00fcgt sich in den architektonischen Stil des Flughafens ein und vervollst\u00e4ndigt die Konstruktion der \u00dcberdachung. W\u00e4hrend der Bauarbeiten wurden die elektromechanischen Leitungen f\u00fcr die Ausstellung bereits eingebettet.
