Steel Structure Hog Fattening Shed in Minas Gerais, Brazil

Project Name: 2,400㎡ Fully Slatted Floor Hog Fattening Steel Structure Shed
Location: Hog Industry Belt, Uberaba City, Minas Gerais State, Brazil
Land Area: 2,400 square meters (Span: 16m × Length: 150m, Eave Height: 3.8m, with a 1.2m-high slatted floor layer)
Steel Consumption: 67.2 tons (Main frame uses hot-dip galvanized rectangular tubes 120×80×3.0mm; load-bearing beams for the slatted floor are 14# I-beams. Steel usage per unit area: 28 kg/㎡)
Key Features:
Designed to cope with Brazil’s rainy climate, the steel structure roof features a 30° drainage slope. The slatted floor system employs a steel load-bearing frame combined with FRP grating. Anti-corrosion treatment utilizes a zinc-aluminum-magnesium coating, offering superior corrosion resistance compared to conventional galvanizing. The shed can accommodate 800 fattening hogs in partitioned pens and is equipped with mounting brackets for climate control systems.
